#Bringbackourgirls

What a shame to see the little or no media coverage given to the missing Nigerian girls.. Most of the coverage is being propelled by average people like you and I. Who are driven to tweet and write about it because we realise that the large Media houses and Governments aren't doing enough about it.

Constantly people are at us that we like to play the "race card", but what does a race do when things like this happen. We are talking about 234 girls who were taken by terrorists. Look at the events in Ukraine and how several countries have united against Putin..Why aren't these girls as important? why aren't these parents as important??  Look at the Malaysian airline incident and how many countries have come together to join in the search. What is so different about this case? When we see all these cases being addressed, we then look for reasons and two comes up, Poverty and Race.

If Nigeria was one of the richest countries in the world, i am sure the media and Governments of the world would be all over this and if it was a white populace i am sure the media and governments would be over this.

People are quick to jump down Donald Sterling's throat, but what about the rest of the hypocrites, Who are just as racist as he is but hide it so WELL... Being a silent racist is just as bad or even worst than being a vocal Racist..

I am a mother to a little girl and my heart breaks when i think what the parents are going through. I do hope all the tweets and marches reach the ears of the people who have the know how and the resources to help these children.

PLEASE help to #Bringbackourgirls
